The K.V.H.S. school team of approximately 80 members- students and staff- raised over $13,500 for breast cancer research supported by the Run on October 2, 2005 at Harbour Station. This total surpassed last year’s amount of over $12,000 and put K.V. at the head of the school division donations. Funds were accumulated over several months and involved numerous activities which were strongly supported by students, staff and the community at large. Many thanks to all who participated in any way , with special thanks to Mrs. V. Atkinson who was our fundraising co-ordinator again this year. Plans are already underway for next year.
